Stormy Weather

I apologize for not blogging last Monday. As you can see from the photo above of Highway 17 Northbound, the weather has been extreme here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Several storms have swept through our community causing havoc (i.e. mud slides, fallen trees/limbs, loss of power, flooding, etc.); even our children’s schools were closed for a few days.

All this to say, sometimes in life, we encounter stormy weather. This week, I would like to encourage those going through tough times to remember it’s only a season and it won’t last forever.  The good news is that Jesus is with us through the storm of life.

“…And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

– Matthew 28:20b
